Hi, is it not possible to embed the custom alphas in exr files?

I should have 7 custom alphas in this exr (16) file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/105 ... 1_0002.exr
But they I cant figure out how I extract them.

I'm having a similar problem - custom alphas seem corrupted in an exr file, either 16 or 32 bits.

I tried opening the file Kevron posted in Nuke and it looked the same as my tests - a jumbled collection of pixels in the custom alpha. Also, I only get one custom alpha instead of 2+ that I should be seeing.

I opened my MXI in photoshop and everything was fine, so it looks like it's just an exr problem.

We have detected what could be failing here and after a couple or changes we have reuploaded the installers. Please download it and reinstall and let us know if the issue is gone.

Just a very minor thing with the custom alphas, that does not justify alone to increase the version number yet, but we considered there were not strong reasons to have you waiting until the next official patch. (we are right now preparing a beta downloads section in the clients area so you can get builds more often and do not need to wait for official patches to get these kind of quick fixes).

btw, I think a beta channel would be a great idea.

No, it was affecting the engine only, it is not needed to upload the plugins.
