Block light from volumetric

Hi,
I planning soon to render out an animation sequence where volumetric is in the scene. It looks great, but I would like to exclude some of the lights (key&rim) from the volumetric object.

I learned that this is not yet possible in the plugin (Cinema 4D). Is there a clever workaround?
It's 750+ frames, so doing it manually in Studio is not ideal :)

Thanks,
Tor M

It will become possible in the next plugin build. For now though, the only way I know of accomplishing what you ask would be to write a python script to post-process all the MXS files.
