hello
i install maxwell render with license server but when i try activation ; an error message appear
"license server not running"

Hi,

first of all, just to discard the obvious, did you install the license manager?

To see if there's a license manager running, open a web browser and in the url type: and see if it opens the license server administration page.

i try to open this url but nothing
http://localhost:5054
in my license the number change :5053
after activation i see : license activated successfully but the license not active
i try offline activation ; a new license file created but maxwell run as unregistred version

from console
ERROR: - Error getting license, returned code : Bad server hostname in license file or port@host
ERROR: - Maxwell has no valid license.
ERROR: - NO LICENSE PRESENT

finally i activate it

The license port 5053 is the port through the programs communicate with rlm, a.k.a the license manager. The port 5054 in http://localhost:5054 is the port through which the web browser communicates with the license manager web service

Open localhost:5054 and in the left pane press "Reread/Restart Servers"
