I hope there will be an improvement down the road to get the camera to match the settings within Revit. I think this is an inherent issue within Revit itself. Unless I have totally missed something, I have not found a way to specify the lens in Revit. I can adjust the field of view, but it is eyballing it, there's no way to type in or change the settings so I can get a 35 mm lens for example. So far, I've had to do a few test renders and adjust the view in Revit until I get it close to what I want in Maxwell. Is there a tip to getting them to match?

In what sense don't they match ?, a mismatch can appear between what is rendered in maxwell and what you see in revit if you're rendering the active view because revit doesn't tell us anything when you pan or zoom the view using keyboard and mouse shortcuts, using the control wheel works however. The best way however is to create a camera in revit and set it to be used in the render from the camera tab in the render options panel.

You should however be able to adjust the focal length of the camera from the camera tab and use the pick camera target to automatically adjust the depth of field of the current camera to focus on the object you pick from revit.
