No luck yet. Don't ask why or how... I am still trying to figure it out.
Was able to import a DXF sphere, but not the other formats (yet).
This is a very unstable release.

yep, dxf sphere works for importing without meshing faults but I cannot render the sphere. This is definately another big disappointment that NextLimit managed to deliver on time!

Thomas,
this is NOT release. This is _very_ bad joke

I've been waiting to 2:30am to get the e-mail with download instructions... and then? grrr

No luck either. No .3dm import: Will we have to mesh before sending to the renderer? - Please not seriously...

If I try to render from Rhinoll, the MXI viewer does open and I get the message: MXS file is obsolete (old version). Is the current Rhinoll not the right one?

I'm having the exact problem Micha has. And, it always says "Untitled.mxs".

Correct, The current Rhinoll produces obsolete mxs files (that work only for the 1.2.2 beta)
Rhinoll has not been updated for the RC as far as I know.

You guys know that I am not a complainer( complainer is that the correct word?), but I'm so very disappointed at this moment, indeed Rhinoll does not work ok, but stl dxf import does work but maxwell crashes the moment I try to render anything.......
I can't create any materials, etcetera etcetera

I've tried importing a dxf only to totally lock-up my machineā¦so far I've only been able to get mverta's sample file to work and barely at that

... I'm very disappointed. I have the feeling, a professional work with a NL product seems to be impossible. I never have seen a release without a bug, that is viewable after 5 minutes. This level of software and support quality is a shame.
