Hiya!

I thought i'd ask you pro's here if the Rhino's Maxwell plugin will work with the eval version of Rhino 3.0 ? that'd be great if it did as i'd like to give it a twirl..

Max,

You should be able to use the plugin with the Rhino eval.

Hiya Micha :)

Really! i haven't followed his progress on the plugin he's working on but i heard someone mention something about it earlier. It sure sounds interesting too. :) i'll be happy to give that one a twirl too.

Well freakin' sweet it works! :D and geez it's easy and userfriendly too in Rhino, i for one like the it. And so far i haven't experienced any crashes or problems, it's just smooth! i don't get it what people complain so much about on the Rhino plugin.

I got a rendering coming up in 5 hours from now, it just gotta chew a bit more on this one then it's ready to be posted :) so far it looks quite good hehe (yet again it's a piece i did for another speedmodeling competition last night).

Hehe o yeah! :P Rhino is soo sweet when doing booleans, i sat up last night, the whole night and booleaned just about everything i could put my hands on :D

And i'm surprised how well it actually works with Maxwell, i had no idea it's this smooth to use. Sure it has some oddities here and there which could be solved but nothing major that ruins the workflow or anything like that :)

You're definately right Frances, i'm all Rhinocerated now  heh..

A few more hours calculating and i'll post my first rendering using the Rhino plugin, keep an eye out for it ;)

The most problem for the users are texturing (projection types and tiling), but Znouza will try to find a way. Rhino is very good for design construction, but rendering and visualisation was a long time simple only, but in the future we see some high lights. :)
