i am trying to make my images as real as possible, but it always result in flat or animation image. could you download this file and play with it and upload? http://fiore.com.au/data/star.3dm or please give me some advice how i should set up the lights and all those.

Hm.. for more interesting reflections, put a few walls and ceiling around your studio setup, perhaps instead of 1 big overhead light a couple of smaller coloured lights in front/side of the ring? You can also tip the ring on the side or let it rest against a second ring to make the composition more interesting... experiment
