how come they still haven't fixed or at least appologize? i expected new version is much better than older one, but it's still bad.render time is bloody still slow and i can't assign any metal. i don't want to hear any excuse.i want best rendering program.

dudrjs79,

It's an Alpha/Beta version and you knew this when you paid for it. As Alpha/Beta users we get a privileged chance to be involved in the development of the software and learn how to use it prior to its official release. Yes it's frustrating that there are bugs in the Rhinoll plugin, but the whole point of this process is to identify and fix the bugs. Then in October we'll have fully working product that we're all happy with. I'm sure the chaps at Next Limit are working every hour of the day to get this software ready in time and they'd appreciate a bit more support/understanding from us lot.

Cheers,

Nik

hi nik

well..i don't really agree.when i paid for alpha version, i expected that beta version would be better than alpha, but you see there is no improvement.if they officialy announce update, there should come up with certain changes, not bugs and errors.i can't see render time is faster than alpha.(maybe 9 hours to 8 hours). noise stays same. why did they release this for? if they go like this, you can't expect full version will be better, can you?

they don't spend much time for rhino plugin.those people who make rhino plugin probably drink beer and go to karaoke by now with my money. :x i use 3ds max as well and it has more options and improvement.can't you see that?

i was excited about this plugin because rhino doesn't have good quality of rendering program yet.
i think before they release full version they should've have trial version of this product, so that people wouldn't feel to be ripped off like me!!

Yes it looks like the plugin process is not as rigorous. They have spread themselves too thin ... kinda like "jack of all trades and master of none".

They need more plugin developers and they need to put more "love" in those plugins.

No, its just simple switch ... I saw it in the SDK the other day.

I can not live with this effect. I will bring my camera to a repair service that build it. :?

Pablo, please do it, give us the control option and stay in touch with the newsgroup.

I like the updated Rhinoll 0.6 .... it used to be the worst... now it is quite stable.
So far so good !

Yeah, it would be nice to add the camera diaphragm options.

About the textures: There were some discussions in the past and Rhino does not have advanced texturing widgets exposed. It is possible to do advanced texturing in Rhino but the plugin developer needs to work twice as hard compared to the Max plugin developer (because the core Max is more mature in regards to texturing)

So essentially this is as much a Rhino shortcoming as well as a Maxwell developer not willing to spend extra energy on things that other software provide by default.

Once we pull through this, then Rhino will be the best !
