I'm looking at the option of running Maxwell with the Rhino plugin instead of going through c4d/Maxwell as I have been.

When I look at the multilight names, they all say "mesh1, mesh2, etc. Is there some way in Rhino to label these so they are readily recognized in the Maxwell Render mullitlight panel?

I almost posted this last week but ran out of time. Thanks for posting, looking forward to the answers.

Just open Rhino's Object Properties window, select an object, and fill in the 'Name' box, which is blank by default. That should do the trick.

and keep the names short. the labels on the multilight sliders in mxcl only show 5-6 characters. mouse-hovering over the labels will pop up the full name but it's a pain in the ass.
the render does not start
