Hi ,
working with blocks in rhino and all is good.
When I open the mxs in maxwell none of the block appear in the render window but then do render.. Is this correct? If I select the original/parent then I can see the blocks as bounding boxes but I cannot select one and then use the auto focus command..

Should I do all the auto focus in Rhino?

Thanks

Hi Rich,

Yes, I would say to use the auto-focus in Rhino instead of Studio. The reason you don't see your instances in Studio is due to performance options for the display; if you right-click in the Instances window, you can choose:

- % of instances to show
- whether to show all instances, or just selected ones
- shading mode, i.e. bounding box, shaded, textured

These things can also be set in Studio's Preferences page, but I would not recommend enabling too much because it will slow down Studio unnecessarily when you open scenes with many instances.

Cheers...

I'm curious, Richard. What do you use Studio for? (err... What functionality do you need from Studio that's not available from the plug-in?)

Hi Cadhorn,
I gues its just the way I work.
I like the auto focus function as it works well in Studio.
I know also available in Rhino but didn't use to be to it is what you get used to.
