Hey guys,
I prefer not to re-orient my scene so how do i change the sun angle ?
or rather..how do i know how the scene is oriented in maxwell (ie. which way is north, east, south, west).
THANKS!

North lies in the direction of the y-axis in Rhino, and you can change that using
Scene Manager > Environment > Scene Rotation. It's easier to see what you're doing if you enable the viewport sun-light:

Hi again and thanks especially for your long and thorough explaination of how to texture the trees.
Also, is it important whether or not my model is near the 0,0 point in rhino? As is..it isn't anywhere near there. ty

" Scene Manager > Environment > Scene Rotation"
can i use it in the maxwell rhino plugin? or must i be in Maxwell studio?
Because I can't seem to find "Scene Rotation" anywhere

Here you go, it's the fifth parameter from the top:

thanks jdhill..I guess i don't see that because on my lap top i'm using maxwell 1.5. I see it in maxwell 1.7 though.
Also, does my model being at the 0,0 point or near there matter?

Sorry, I forgot to respond to that part; no, it shouldn't matter much to Maxwell, but Rhino doesn't like it sometimes.
