Hi,

Is it possible to group all the text objects and only have 1 mulitlight slider + environment?

Yes, make all the objects into meshes (if they are not already) using main menu > Mesh > From NURBS Object, then use Join on them. In the MXS, although there are many pieces, they will be one mesh, with one slider.
