That is if you use "Control Point Curve", but if you use "Curve: Interpolate Points" then the problem dissapears!

That is a method to avoid the problem from the start, but you can always rebuild the surface in Rhino, or insert points into the stretched part with the bonus tool. The former method invites some unneeded additional points into
the geometry, as Rhino does not at the moment handle different densities in the geometry when rebuilding, the latter needs a bit of manual work.
