I have a large model with a lot of repetetive blocks in it. The blocks are of a complex wall element of which I have about 400. It's the same block, repeating on a complex line.

When exporting to Maxwell the file sizes are HUGE (500+mb), which obviously means the blocks are not becoming instances.

Is there any trick to forcing a block to export as an instance? Using the latest plug-in and maxwell 1.7.1.

Deadline approaching - help! :)

do you have "export blocks as instances" switched on in the plugin options (scene manager)

That's the one! Found it myself about 5 minutes after posting...

Good news is that it worked great -- the 530mb file is now only about 3mb and renders blazingly fast!
