after a long time ( :? ) I'd like to use Maxwell again
I have the v. 1.7.1 x 64 of Maxwell Studio (7/8/2008)
I have rhino 4.0 SR4 and Maxwell for rh4 1.7.0.0 (10/6/2008)
It's the last version of the plugin?

Hi Rober,

I think that error means that the .zip file you downloaded is corrupted. Try deleting it and re-downloading.

Let me know if that helps,

You're still using WinRaR in that screenshot. Starting from the beginning, I would do this:

- go to the download site
- click the 'Plugins' tab
- scroll down to the Maxwell for Rhino section
- click the 'Download Here' button
- a dialog should appear; select 'Save', not 'Open'
- save the .zip file to your Desktop or your Documents folder
- when it is downloaded, right-click the .zip file
- from the menu, choose 'Extract Files'
- follow the instructions in the wizard
- open the unzipped folder, go to the 'setup' folder
- double-click on 'setup.exe' to install

Well, I don't have WinRaR installed, so I can't tell what the problem is with that program. I am also on XP right now, so I can't tell you exactly how to unzip a file on Vista without using WinRaR. I think you'll just need to read the WinRaR documentation, or see Windows Help to find out how to override WinRaR for .zip files.

...it isn't strange that Total Commander and Windows tell me that the file is damaged? Are you sure that it is ok?
What is the program with have you zip this(see in winrar documentattion...)

I don't use any 3rd-party zip software, I just use the normal functions in Windows. I guarantee the download is just fine (I just checked it to be sure). Possible problems may be related to:

- using a download manager that is corrupting the .zip file
- some issue with 3rd-party unzip software
- the download being scanned/damaged by some anti-virus software

Sorry I can't tell you more, but as I said, it works just fine here.
