JD-

Not sure how responsive cancel animation (ctrl + alt + shift) is with Rhino...after waiting 15 seconds and then trying to canel an animation...Rhino continues. Just an fyi.

Probably more an indication of the age of my system that it doesn't respond.

CTRL+ALT+SHIFT cancels an MXS export - with an animation, you are doing this multiple times, so you'd need to hold those keys down, then close MXCL when it starts (because it will). I'd have to do some testing to see if it's even possible for me to cancel an AnimationTools loop from the plugin.

Ah, that explains it. Thought I was killing the animation, not stoping the export.

At 240 frames for a full 360 it takes a while for my old system to write all those mxs files.

Thanks.

Ah, I found something there - even though the export is being cancelled, the files might still get written when you have Cache MXS Meshes enabled. It won't do that anymore, so now I can cancel 240 frames by holding down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT for 5 seconds or so.
