holy cr*p that's useful jd! thanks!!

i finally got around to reading your updated "Texture Mapping and the Maxwell for Rhino Plugin"

down in the Real Scale section I read this and my jaw dropped:
4. find the Maxwell Object Properties > Real Scale Texture Control section in Rhino Object Properties
5. use the x/y/z axis rotation controls to orient the texture as desired
I'm working on a kitchen rendering that's got lots of brushed stainless steel and polished wood, textures which benefit greatly from being oriented correctly. The realization that I can control this from within Rhino just made my day (and week). Before reading your post I was dreading having to adjust the texture orientations... maybe having to make several versions of each material with different orientations... or some equally painful and time-consuming work-around.

Thanks again for this amazingly powerful plugin. I look forward to never opening maxwell studio again!
