Can Rhino unfold a curve to a flat pattern?

I know it's not maxwell related but i dont know where to ask else.
Can Rhino unfold a curve to a flat pattern?

hi jalokin,
Rhino can UnrollSrf and FlattenSrf. Maybe this works: extrude the curve to make a surface, UnrollSrf, DupEdge to get a flat curve.

Hello there -
FYI - rhino also offers a plug-in that makes a 2d pattern from a non-developable surface (curved in two directions)

curve to flat pattern is somewhat of a faulty concept because it depends on what plane you're projecting to. If you want to project something to a given x y or z plane, use _SetPt.

Just to let you know it worked fine and the part has been produced and assembled with out any problems.
