The render time is good for this and things will get better.
60-90 minutes for product shots is something I can live with !
(Now if the dielectrics were a little faster ... )

Skydome = 0
Two rectangular emitters. [D65@300W and B@100W]
f/stop = 8
Shutter = 50
Bounce =7
Sampling level reached = 15
Material = metal gold
Background material = standard diffuse color
