JDHill, nice image. Thank you.
I don't want to start a comparsion of test renderings of different engines now. My idea for the thread was, to see the power of Maxwell of advanced users and beginners.
I think, Maxwell can produce great images, but I feel the main problem is like allways befor: advanced skill of the users is needed and the workflow of the plugin must be good. Maxwell is released since three months and so it should be possible, to get some images from more current users.
I have got a pm from a friend. He show me his nonpublic pro renderings. Simple good CG per Maxwell, but not realy photoreal, no special Maxwell.
From the Beta time I know the feeling, Maxwell could be the shortcut to the best images of the world. The Beta plugin material system was easy, the quality was beautiful. But in the last weeks I have seen so much Maxwell images (from all plugins) that was not looking "Maxwell" or the quality was small and noisy or the rendertime was so long.
So, let us see images of Rhinoll without to much words. Words could bring much quarrel.
At the beginning, some Maxwell users has joked about the
release of Vray for Rhino, but I feel, the success of Rhinoll should be visible in a Rhinoll gallery with images in extraordinary quality. Less words, more images.
PS: I'm 2 weeks in vacation now.
PS2: Hyltom, what makes your
brush metal material?
