Hi,

Would it be possible to have Maxwell bring up a window's style "save prompt" for Scene Path/Image path - when I press the render button.

I keep forgetting to change the output file and over-writing stuff.

Hi Keith,

I'll see about putting in something like that...but for now anyway, if you want to be reminded not to overwrite things, go to Plugin Options and set 'Suppress Warnings' to 'No'...that should prevent you writing over existing files.

This is an issue with the Network 'Add job' dialogue too.

If you use the same image & mxi path, as saved in an mxs, without using the 'Add job' folder buttons, there is no warning of an overwrite.

I don't know anything about the networking side of Maxwell, but in the plugin, overwrite warnings are shown by default - you have to explicitly turn them off in user preferences if you don't want them.
