Editing Materials - impact on skp-file size

Hello,

I would like to understand what happen when I edit a material in the material manager.
For example, I have 2 different glass materials and set this from automatic to AGS (and by one I've changed the reflection factor). Now the skp-file is about 200kb much bigger. Why? If I set from AGS back to automatic, file size still remains the same. How can I decrease the file size in this case?

I mean when I only edit a few materials, it will not be a problem but if I have a model with maybe 25-30 different materials and have own setting, the file size will significantly increase.

thx
Daniel

This will be due to the need to store material thumbnails in the SketchUp material data, so that when you open your SKP later, you can still see what the materials look like.
