when importing multilight mxi i see theat normal emitters/ibl etc. are named according to material name in their layer.
but mxi/hdr based emitters just show up as "mxi".

You're right! There is a problem with some emitter names when the plug-in sets the PS layer name.

Fixed for the next version

btw. would it be possible to name the group which holds the intensity&color adjustments like the emitter?

I usually go through groups by hand to rename them to avoid this.

I think it can't be done with an action file, maybe a PS script. I'll take an eye
