As the title says.

I get a black window for FIRE no errors. Just black, no fire controls show up either after I press fire in the the fire window.

To clarify a bit. It's rendering, and if I click where the buttons should be visible things happen, its just that the actual card view is black and not displaying the preview.

Is it under OSX or Windows?

Works fine my end Seth , check for conflicts with other plugin's maybe?

Uninstalled MODO, uninstalled maxwell plugin for MODO reinstalled it. Still black screen with fire.

Screen cap wouldn't really tell you anything its literally just a black square where the render is supposed to be.

I guess you also tried what happens when you delete the main modo CFG file(?)

Otherwise export to Render and export to Studio works fine?

(There is a small chance for OpenGL problem..... what kind of graphics card do you have?)

Ya studio Fire works fine, pressing render in modo also works fine.

I am on a 970 GTX there is also a 780 GTX in the machine as well.

Can you manually choose which one works actually?

So windows 10 just did a big update it looks like to build 10162 and now fire works.

Not sure what it updated but ya working now.

I have no idea what was blocking it (except opengl problem)
