Modo Animation Maxwell

Hi guys,
How would you go about creating an animation in Modo 801 with Maxwell emitters, where the light intensity would need to fade in.
In Modo I can just make the emitter plane on or off, so what can I do to render the final animation with maxwell, so the lights slowly fade in ?
An ideas?
THANKS
Cheers Q!

Hello,
I don't understand the problem. Do you have to switch the visibility? Can't you drive a channel?

Basically I need the light just to slowly fade in and change intensity from zero to say 5 watts. I tried to do it by driving a channel but only got it to either be on or off. no fading when i had a maxwell emitter material applied to my object!

What happens if you change the timeline to a in-between frame. Do you get the right value when you export it to Maxwell?

What about using the dissolve channel in Modo or the opacity channel for the material?
edit: dissolve the emitter geometry - key the dissolve channel @ 100% on your first frame and then the last frame @ 0% that will slowly fade in your emitter geometry

Hi TeaBag
I'll try that, maybe that'll do the trick.....
Thanks for the tip!
