Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Is there a predetermined hotkey for the maxwell plugin? Or can I create one somehow? I never really make hotkeys, kind of just always used the Modo ones. I know it is something I should really learn to save time, but I make do for now.

No hotkey for Maxwell in modo.

For which option would you like it?

Even one just to open up the plugin. Or just for the fire. I don't know lol. Anything. I constantly am hitting f8 and f9 when I am trying to actually use fire. My brain is trained. So if I could somehow replace f8 with fire instead of preview render would be pretty awesome. but I could retrain my brain if it were something else too. Just anything is technically quicker than going up to the menu bar.

I wish I could dock it in a window , I'd create a tab just for maxwell if I could.
Cody you can get maxwell fire in a window by the way using the card view.

I think its about time I trawled through those docs again.

Yeah, Thanks. I can't believe I have had modo for about a year and half and have never set my own hotkeys. Just set one for each of the plugin commands and the plugin itself. Time saver.
