keyframe for V3 MaxwellSea

I'm playing with the MaxwellSea on modo701(SP3), Win8 x64.
It's great indeed, but I noticed an issue about keyframe for MaxwellSea 'Reference Time'.

I made a simple scene which has just only MaxwellSea object,
and added the key for 'Reference Time'.

MaxwellSea shape at time0:

Changed timeline at time60, but MaxwellSea shape wasn't changed:

Once made MaxwellSea invisible and back to visible, the MaxwellSea shape was refreshed:

So, it looks that the plugin can't invoke refreshing MaxwellSea shape according to keyframe properly...

Hello Kyosen,

Sorry but I can't see your linked images.

Here MaxwellSea shape changes in the modo viewport. It is true that it doesn't refresh in the modo preview window (currently it seems it is a modo bug with procedural geometries but not sure - I have similar problem with the Gear item.).

I've edited the images URL in my previous post...
But OK, you have no problem... is my modo scene linked in my previous post OK for you too!?
Anyway, something must be wrong in my environment or my scene setting :(
I'll continue to try it!

Yes in the modo preview render window something is not ok with the refresh.
I will check it, and hopefully improve it.

Normally you should see the sea geom in the modo opengl viewport too (without this refresh glitch). But you see only the bounding box. Do you use the demo or student version? Just asking because if you have full license you should see the geom and it means there is a bug there too.

If you click MaxwellSea in the Item List, you will see only the bounding box.
And yes, I can observe sea geom changing in the OpenGL viewport according to keyframe,
but if rendered animation, I got same geometry at time0 status in whole frame!!! :(
Do you use the demo or student version?
No. I'm using a commercial full license.

There are different problems here.

Modo preview render:
I can do changes here, but in modo 701 something seems to be broken, so the result is not always ok.

GL viewport animation play:
This is difficult to solve....

Have you tried to render it in Maxwell? There it should be good.

OK, so this issue is a problem in modo701 side, I wonder...

And yes, rendering in Maxwell via plugin works fine, thank you!

BTW, I'm happy to know that baked MaxwellSea geometry can be exported as *.obj or etc. :)

To be fair I am not sure if it is modo bug or not or I have misunderstood something during the implementation.

But here I can easily trigger the same problem with the gear item (changing parameters a few times and it doesn't change the view after a while) which should work fine if everything is ok on the modo side.
