Hi,

I see that in the modo plugin I can load mxm files, apply them to my model etc. I see how I can change the image displayed and I see fire working - all cool. But when I go to scale my UV map the image shown is the thumbnail preview image, not the actual texture. It's fine for some things but not for precise adjustments. I can't figure out how to change the image that appears there?

Thanks!

Hi Marton,

Here is an example, a unit cube with a mxm applied 'scratched metal' mapped to UV map texture, I see the preview image on the uv side but I want to see the actual texture map. Hopefully it's not an RTFM question! I do hate asking those!!

Ok, you are right! I was not aware of this thing.....

The problem is that the plugin displays the mxm texture the same way as modo displays for example cellular or wood textures and unfortunately modo can't show these in the UV view.

So for now I have no better idea for you but to go to the top-left corner of the uv view click on "Options" and at the Backdrop menu with (load image) you can load the texture image manually.
