I have contacted TheThirdGuild (developers of mARCH) and they assured me that their code strictly follows Luxology guidelines and that I should notify maxwell's modo developer of this problem. I hope this is the right place to get a message through, I do archviz and need mARCH and want to start using Maxwell for rendering as well.

I'm seeing a similar crash on launch with OSX 10.7.4, Modo 601sp2, mARCH 601-006, and 2.7.0.0 modoForMaxwell plugin. I'll try and see if I have the same problem in Windows. I am also seeing crashes when audioape & modoForMaxwell plugin are installed at same time (same config), while having audioape and mARCH installed together doesn't seem to cause any problems. This makes me suspicious the problem is on the modoForMaxwell side of things.
