Ive been trying to get motion blur to work using the R2 plugin but cant seem to get any effect to render I looked at
the plugin manual and did enable it under camera settings and made sure I animated motion blur in modo too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Modo camera motion blur settings ("Blur Length", "Blur Offset") have no effect on Maxwell motion blur.

You have to select the render item, in the plugin window under "Globals" you should enable the "Motion Blur" channel and you have to make sure that object parameter "Disable MB" if off (it is probably off, because that is the default).

If you still can't produce MB, please send me a sample scene.

Hm, just have the same problem .. my settings are right - increasing / decreasing shutter-speed gives me no feedback?
