Hi All,

Can anyone enlighten me as to how smoothing properties set in Modo are exported to Maxwell studio? I've found that smoothing percentages I set for materials in Modo do show up and in studio and render fine, however I can't find any record of the smoothing settings in studio. Is the smoothing info exported into studio and then hidden or am I missing something?

All the items exported from modo are created with the default Maxwell smoothing values (modo smoothing values are not exported).
The plugin exports these items with their normal vectors, so usually the result is very good, but exporting smoothing parameter is a bit tricky.
In modo smoothing parameter is connected to material items (it is possible to export one item with different smoothing setting), but in Maxwell smoothing is on the object level.
You can find smoothing parameter in Maxwell Studio on the "Object Parameters" panel.
