Hello,
I tryed in Modo with modo pluging to disable the background environment and to set to none if it is disable.
The background environment disable in modo preview render but not in the Fire window or when I launch the render the background appears.
My enviroment type in Modo global values is set to (modo>>Environment) and in the modo shader tree I hide from camera the enviroment HDRI image.
Thank you for your helop and comments.

Hello Medusse,
I am not sure about your question. Am I right that you want to use a HDR image but only for the Reflection, Refraction and Illumination channels? So it won't be visible in the background, but it will illuminate the scene.(?)

Hello Marton,
Yes, you're right. It's a HDR image for Reflection, Refraction and illumination but hide for the camera as background
Thank you,

It seems something is wrong with this. I wanted to describe the way how you can do it, but it doesn't work. It seems it is broken (bug) at least in this beta version. I will return back, but I have to check the code again.
For now you can try to export the scene to Studio, and disable the background there. (Until I find the problem).

Hello Medusse,
Sorry, I was wrong, it is not a bug but I have also forgotten to switch to IBL.
Here are the steps you have to do:
1. switch from Environment Type "modo >> Environment" to "IBL"
2. On the IBL panel the Background Image should be "modo >> Environment Image Map" this is the default, so it should be ok
3. Disable the IBL background channel with the check box.
I hope it will work for you, please let me know if it works or not.

Hello Marton,
Thank you so much for your help but this is exactly what I did and is not working.
I'm working with the mac version.
... At the moment I'm opening the file in studio and disable the background there.
