Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Hi,
Just upgraded to the latest Maxwell plug-in. When I hit render I get the following error message:

Open MXS File Error

/users/me/Library/Application Support/Luxology/Plug-ins/Maxwell plugin for Modo/Default Export/scene.msx cannot be read.


the consloe lists:

ERROR: -MXS file is invalid
ERROR: -No error

Tried re-instaling/made sure no folders were locked.
any ideas?

Was the scene.msx (instead of scene.mxs) just a mistyping? I guess the answer is yes, but I have to be sure:)


Do you have the scene.mxs file inside the "Default Export" folder?

If yes than maybe your Maxwell Render is not the latest version. The plug-in requires the latest Maxwell version.

Whoops, Yes just a misprint there. scene.mxs is inside the Default Export Folder

This is the problem Marton. I had 2.0.3.0 - and now that I have updated to 2.1 all works as it should.
