ArchiCad trees alpha channel to Maxwell

I assume Maxwell is failing to translate the alfa channel from the ArchiCad materials on the trees here? Is there a way to force it, or do you guys know of any better trees to use inside archicad (I get none of the ones that can be downloaded directly in ArchiCad to work)?
(In the image the outer portions of the walls are disappearing as well due to some mxm materials not being rendered, but I have posted that issue in a separate thread.)
