Strange Reflection

Hey I am trying to figure out this reflection in a large piece of glass that is in front of a poster. The scene is to scale and the glass is about a 1/4". I have tried 2 glass materials with the same result. The glass is well in front of the poster.
Thanks.

you mean the 'bulging' look? looks like a smoothing angle error to me. it might be good to set a 'no smoothing' attribute in FZ to that surface, maybe? how's the geometry of that glass plane looking? in case you beveled a planar solid, this might in the end be the issue.

Thanks for the reply. I am referring to the black corner. The poster is white with a few pictures. The upper rt corner is totally different.

Check the following:
- Turn off smoothing as mentioned by Markus.
- check for intersecting coplanar geometry - especially that glass does not intersect image plane.
- Does the incorrect area change/disappear if you move the camera?

Meshed the glass with a 6" square mesh. Rendered perfect.
