Manually translating FMZ accurate metal to Maxwell??

Can anyone advise how to input the refraction/absorption paramaters from FormZ Accurate Metal to Maxwell. FormZ has an IOR parameter for each RGB channel & an absorption value for each RGB channel. How do I replicate this in Maxwell v2?

I have noticed that FZ metals do not match Maxwell at all. You have to jack up the metallic settings a great deal in FZ to get a metallic surface.

I had hoped to use the refraction & absorption values for the RGB channels to roll my own complex ior files but I don't really understand the process enough to do it yet. Hopefully once I get it I'll wade through converting a bunch of the Lightworks UNS metal lwa files to Maxwell.

If anyone familiar with ior files can shed some light I would be very grateful especially if it is possible to create one with a minimum of entries.
