Noise in rendered image

Hello!
Although I had Maxwell for sketch up for a year and a half, I still haven't mastered getting a good quality image. I use Maxwell for SketchUp V1 and V2, Maxwell Render V2 Learning Edition and using sketch up 8 (not the pro one, the regular free one).

I don’t understand if having the free version of sketch up and a late version of Maxwell render are the cause of all the noise in the final images or if I need to modify my parameters. (When applying a glass I try always to put AGS or glass in type).

As well, I don't understand if it is possible to get a 300dpi image, they all seem to render at 72dpi.
I will appreciate all the tips and help possible. Thanks in advance!!!

what kind of scenes are you rendering? interior or exterior?
and at which sample level?
I experienced some kind of problems with glasses while rendering in draft mode. Switch to production mode helped (I'm using a licensed version of the plugin, not the render suite).
