Hi, recently I use maxwell for sketchup to render their projects. However, I have a big problem with the light to render a natural and bright. Helping yourself by setting the ceiling as emitter and EV for 1 or 2, but it's probably not a good way to go.
Did any of you could to help me set these parameters? Maybe I'll post to you my project, and you enter in the appropriate settings. I had a sort of template for subsequent renders.
Or write what settings you use and try to implement them at home.
Thanks in advance for your interest.
Jarek

EV 14 if a normal outdoor shot. So i'd drop to 13 or 12 or 11 depending on how much light is in the scene I've never used 1 or 2 ! Use real world emitter values and keep it realistic (not a whole ceiling). Emitter geometry slows renders so where possible use small planes. Th rest of the exposure can be done with iso and shutter speed once your rendering.
