SU 2014 was just released - is the current MR 3.0.1 plugin compatible with SU 2014?
Thanks

No, it is not, SU2014 uses a newer version of Ruby. There will be a beta plugin that supports SU2014, shortly after the next Maxwell beta is released.

Thanks!
Any ETA for that?

Sorry, but I never quote ETAs, especially when they depend on factors outside my control. I should think it would be within a day or two of Maxwell 3.0.0.5 being made available, but can't really know, since there is no way to predict whether unknown issues will arise.

Honestly, I expected that answer. Fair enough.
Of course, the impatient child inside me had to ask...

What about Maxwell Render 2.7 Sketchup 2014 support? Will you be providing that?

Sorry, but no, the 2.7 plugin will never support SU2014 and up.

I'm very interested in timescales too...
I've just upgraded from SketchUp V8 Pro to 2014 Pro - there's no in between option - and assumed the plugin would work as before. It doesn't. So I will probably have to revert to using V8 Pro for now to render out images which is not ideal.
Is this a priority for Maxwell? You guys do respond quickly to these issues so hoping it is.
Any idea of timescales?
Thanks,
Damian

Please have a look at the Plugin Updates thread at the top of this forum -- I was in the process of finalizing the 3.0.4 beta, which adds support for SU2014, when you posted.
