Hey there,
hopefully some of you great people can help me solve a problem in Maxwell Render 2.75 for Sketchup 2013... I guess its a typical hurdle, so might not be version specific...
I have timber panelling on walls in an architectural mode, and the problem is the grain in the oak texture runs left to right... i really need it to run up and down.
Anyone know how to achieve this? There is a virtual beer in it for you!

You can rotate it in Sketchup, can't you?

Right Click (on textured face) > Texture > Position ... then again Right Click > Rotate
(i have assigned a shortcut (a) to 'texture position' to get quick access - a direct shortcut for a 90° rotate is still not possible)
or you can use one o these:

thanks for the help... I think where i was getting confused was the maxwell texture was just showing up as a colour in sketchup. I applied a texture to the face and voila the edit texture command was available.
thanks for your help! I didnt realise that you could change the orientation of a maxwell shader from within sketchup, i didnt think the changes made to scale, colour etc of sketchup textures moved accross to Maxwell... We I learned something new today.
thanks again!!

btw. if you use ThruPaint on an object (group/component) you should enable "Ignore Distorsion" in the Maxwell properties of the object.
Otherwise you will get a maxwell material for every single face!
