Howdy folks,
I'm trying to render a black floor with a roughness of 9 with emitters but I keep getting the result as grey or a dark grey. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but could someone point me in a direction that could enlighten me.
Thanks,

with a roughness of 9 its a kind of reflective surface. Did you have an environement light?
Perhaps its the fresnel effect that make your color lighter.
Did you have an image?

The emitters are the only light I have, I've set the EV to 0. I even created a new black surface and applied a black leather mxm material and I still am getting a grey surface. I'll post an image as soon as I get to my desktop.
Thank you.

Mate a roughness of 9% is fairly smooth and reflective. Have a look around blacks with such reflection will be light as they are reflecting so much of the available light.
Try using the Lacquer gloss preset in the plugin - this will serve better.
