Maxwell Render | Official public forum

I have Sketchup 7.1.6087
Maxwell 2.01 with the Sketchup 2.4 plugin
OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

No Maxwell Export (mxs) is available under the Sketchup Export option.

The plugin installed:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Exporters\MaxwellExport.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Plugins\MaxwellExport.rb
and Maxwell folder in the above path are present.

I have read other similar threads but they appear to be OSx issues. None of these helped to resolve the problem.

I can only think of a couple of possibilities right away:

1. you are looking in File > Export > 2D Graphic instead of File > Export > 3D Model
2. you need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

I was looking in the Export>3D Model.

The problem was the lack of the MS Visual C++ 2008 SP1 redist. Pack (x86).
