since a few weeks i have this annoying problem when browsing textures from the maxwell plugIn.
so, it is only present when i use the maxwell material texture, or also the hdr slots to browse for files, not eg. from the rhino material dialogue.
it looks like this:


i would not know what i changed in my sytem or was changed to make this happen.
probably it has nothing to do with the plugIn, but I would be glad for any hints.

It should go away if you disable custom file browsers in Options.

i think i checked it because i didn't really know what it would do..

double checked on my laptop (still 2.7) and it shows the same problem.
it would be a nice feature, as it's always a bit of a hassle with getting hdr and tga thumbnails in windows.

I don't know, currently, I've removed the code for it altogether.

no big deal.
for myself, i drag and drop from picture viewer 80% of the time. that is why i ignored the error for a while.
often it is convenient though to start browsing from the location, and then for some formats there will be missing thumbs.
I just find it annoying with .tga, .hdrs are often too big for fast thumbnail generation anyway.
