Sorry, but I'm not seeing that here -- are you able to reproduce it from scratch, or does it require a particular 3DM and/or MXS reference? Does it only affect the point cloud display, or does it still happen if you switch the reference to use the wireframe or NURBS representations? Are you able to reproduce it by creating a block made from a point cloud from scratch? Whatever might be causing it, I'd guess the last one should be true, since there's not anything special about the point cloud that the plugin creates.

OK I got the test file to show the problem. Here's what I did:

1) Create MXS file of simple sphere or whatever.
2) New file, set up clip in top viewport
3) maxwell_createmxsreference, browse to file.
3) MXS point cloud shows up okay
4) move the MXS point cloud... but obviously keep it on the correct side of the clipping plane
5) then it seems to disappear from top viewport.

Thanks, I can reproduce it using those steps. I can also do so, independent of the plugin, using these steps:
  • 1. Create a new 3DM.
    2. In the top viewport, create a clipping plane.
    3. Draw a mesh sphere, 300 x 300 faces.
    4. Run PointCloud and select the mesh.
    5. Block the resulting point cloud.
    6. Drag the blocked point cloud around a bit.
Accordingly, if you reduce the proxy detail of your MXS Reference representation to a certain point, the issue should disappear.
