grass LOD broken?

Hi Jd,
it seems grass LOD does not work with fire from inside rhino. (5/x64)
can you confirm this?

hmm.. as soon as i turn it on, everything is rendering with much lower count but everywhere. no sign of a falloff. (my file is in meters, i thought maybe some unit conversion issue,.. but moving digit up and down didn't help it)
when i render the same scene external, it is ok, also when i render to studio, fire there shows it ok.

i'll send you a file when i get time to isolate it.

sorry, was a busy time. but i am still seeing the problem pop up here and there.

excuse the spamming today.

but this one seems to be still present in maxwell 3
I remember you mentioned it was a core issue related to distance from origin, not a plugIn related problem.

seems like it has not been fixed yet.

on architectural scale, the model will never be close enough to 0,0,0 in order to get this working in FIRE.

I'd be glad if there is a possible fix.
