I'm so glad, that rhino5 is finally out
But now, I have a problem. I cannot assign any file types to automatically open with rhino when I double click them. For example I want .3ds and .obj and .dwg always to be opened with rhino. When I try to change the file tye assosiation, I go to "Change progam", select the rhino.exe in the system folder of rhino5, click ok, it does not show up in the list of programs.
Is there any way to fix this?

I have had this happen too, though with other programs...I have had success using the "OpenWithAdd" program linked in "Method Two" on this page.

Might this have happened because of the prior rhino5 beta? There I was able to open .dwg's with rhino5 by double clicking.
But thanks a lot for the link, it did work!

No, I think it's a Windows problem. I change which program is used to open various file types quite often, and I've had to use that workaround probably five times now.
