About scale of the emitter material?

I find the default of the scale of the emitter material is watt/in. How can I to set it to watt/mm or other?

Sorry, but I don't understand the question -- could you explain what you mean by the default scale of the emitter? When initially created, an emitter uses 40W with an efficacy of 17.6.
