If I create a simple plane.. Add a texture and render is ok..
if I now copy the object and remove the texture for the copied object the texture all disappears for original object in the render...Is this correct?
Thank you

I'm not seeing this here. My steps were: create a plane, assign a material, copy the plane, remove material from the copy. I tried using both the Copy command, and copy/paste. Do you have any more details on how to reproduce the issue?

Hi JD,
I am not working with maxwell materials.. I am just assigning the texture via properties box on right.. Then render and it is ok..
I then copy object and un-tick the texture box for this copied object and then re-render and the original object has texture missing even though it is still assigned in properties box..
I know you will say I should create a material but my workflow is quick and nasty for certain projects that have similar objects with different textures.

Ah, that helps. There is a problem in a function which compares Rhino materials -- it'll be fixed in the next version.

Thank you, sorry if I did not explain very well initially.
