Texture missing from Rhino to render..

I have a simple surface with a jpeg applied and a box mapping.. If I render will all other objects in scene then the mapping is lost.. If I render just the surface it is fine?? This makes no sence...

In order to diagnose something like this, I will need you to send me (jeremy at nextlimit dot com) a simplified model which demonstrates it.
