Rhino v5 won't recognize materials?

Hi Guys- I just started trying out Rhino V5 so that I could try out the match_mapping command for texture mapping but am having a bit of an issue. It seems like Maxwell loaded fine but when I copy materials from the Database Manager into the Scene Manager they lose all of their information and just come over as "Material 1" etc. Am I missing something here? Thanks

Do the mxms in your database manager window have previews, or are they all showing 'no preview' placeholders?

Hi JD- I just had a minute to check into this a little bit more... just for timing issues I am going to be sticking with V4 for now ... but back to this issue. I opened V5 again and yes none of the materials have previews associated in the Database Manager like they do if I open them in V4.

i think there are some general problems in the last rhino 5 wip
i would recommend to uninstall the latest wip (13/03) and go back to an older one (i reverted to 09/02).
mcneel made some major changes to their material dialogs, and it seems to interfere with render plugins.
with the 1303 there is a problem with vray as well.

If you go to main menu > Maxwell > About, what does it say?

It says that I am an idiot@!...Maxwell for Rhino4. I downloaded the plug in a while ago and thought that I had it installed... turns out I did not. Sorry for the hassle folks!

Not necessarily -- I was more interested in what plugin version is indicated.

Here is the exact message...I still have not installed the X64 Maxwell for Rhino plug in.

Thanks -- yep, that's still the Maxwell 1.x plugin.
